I am a freelance journalist specialising in personal finance and consumer affairs. You can read my work regularly via the print edition of the Independent On Sunday, Mirror Online, Yahoo Finance and LoveMoney.com.
My articles have also been featured in The Guardian, This Is Money, Sky News, MSN Money and many others.
In 2015 I was named Household Finance Journalist of the Year at the prestigious Headlinemoney Awards.
As a passionate and well-informed champion of consumer rights I write about complex financial issues with clarity and enthusiasm. I can cover subjects ranging from pensions to property and ISAs to IVAs, along with everything in between.
I am also not above more ridiculous challenges; in the past I have tested face packs made from cat litter and attempted a Christmas trolley dash (total festive shop achieved in less than six minutes. Proudest day of my career).
As a mother of two small, untidy boys I write a popular parenting blog for the website Yahoo UK. I am available for articles on parenting but I have also written extensively on health, fitness and more general lifestyle features.
I am available for corporate work, including guides, articles, blogs, landing pages and general online marketing content. I will also consider commissions for ghost-written blog content and can work with my clients to ensure their personality and tone comes across.
Please do contact me if you need someone to discuss and debate issues of personal finance or parenting. I have experience of both live radio and TV, including Sky News, and I am articulate, passionate and unflappable.
